Low Hanging Branches

Gum trees are one of those things you stop noticing until the light hits them right — and this one catches exactly that moment, white bark glowing where the afternoon sun lands across the trunk and branches. Painted loose and abstract, colour is dropped in where the light picks out a leaf or a curve of bark and left to bleed everywhere else, so the tree reads more as light and shadow than hard outline. It's less "here is a gum tree" and more "here is what it feels like to stand under one at 4pm."
