Wisteria
Painted from photos I took whilst wandering through the southern towns of Australia, where entire streets seem to disappear under cascades of wisteria come springtime. It's a flower the Top End never gets to see, but if you're lucky, you may get a glimpse of one there so every trip south becomes a small excuse to stop and stare — and eventually, to paint. The blooms are laid in loose, floating washes of blue and violet, left soft at the edges so the whole thing reads like it's still catching a breeze. Less a botanical study, more the memory of standing under one of those vine-draped laneways and looking up.

A Note on Originals
When you buy an original, you're not buying a reproduction — you're taking home the actual painting, with every brushstroke, every wash, every decision I made in the moment. No two are alike. Ever.
