Pretty in Pink

She knows. She absolutely knows.

A Galah who has never once questioned her own magnificence — and why would she? All rose-pink and white, with a crest she deploys at full volume and an expression that suggests she finds your admiration entirely appropriate.

The Galah is one of Australia's most recognisable birds, and somehow one of its most underestimated. Get close enough and that pink is extraordinary — soft where you expect bold, vivid where you expect soft. This one sat for her portrait with complete composure and not a single feather out of place.

Pretty in Pink. She earned the title.

A Note on Originals When you buy an original, you're not buying a reproduction — you're taking home the actual painting, with every brushstroke, every wash, every decision I made in the moment. No two are alike. Ever.
