Laughing Kookaburra

Laughing Kookaburras are found throughout eastern Australia, the south-west of Western Australia, and New Zealand and are well known for their loud, raucous laugh.

A large robust kingfisher with a white head and a brown eye-stripe. The upperparts are mostly dark brown but there is a mottled light-blue patch on the wings. We have 10 species of Kingfisher native to Australia, including the kookaburra, which is the largest Kingfishers.

This is a one-off original artwork, using rich watercolours on quality 300 gsm watercolour paper.

All artworks are individually signed, packaged with a foam board and wrapped in a sleeve for protection. Framing is not included however, standard sized frames are available for purchase from a number of quality outlets.
